If you go to visit Chez Christophe Chocolaterie Patisserie in Burnaby and find that the store front you're used to visiting is empty, you merely need to look across the street.

Chez Christophe, which specializes in handcrafted Swiss chocolate, pastries, cakes, and other decadent treats, celebrated its third anniversary by moving into a new space.

The patisserie, run by Swiss-trained pastry chef and owner Christophe Bonzon, has relocated from 4712 to 4717 Hastings Street in Burnaby Heights.

The new location had its grand opening on March 12.

As one of Bonzon's passions is creating sculptures from sugar, the patisserie's 2016 Easter collection, which is now available, features a number of playful egg-shaped figures, including baby chicks and Mounties.
