Farm-to-table cooking has become practically synonymous with Vancouver’s plethora of Pacific Northwest–inspired fare, though Exile Bistro (1220 Bute Street) takes it a step further by extending the philosophy to its bar program.

Botanical ingredients like yam juice, birch syrup, and tree-oil mist dominate the spot’s summer cocktail list, as seen in this dazzling jade-green number concocted by Vancouver bar vet Vanessa Bourget.

An antioxidant-rich blend of gin, maple, lime, and fresh-water algae, which may help increase dopamine, it’ll help to refresh your body, spirits, and mind—not that you needed an excuse.
