The Georgia Straight proudly sponsors Eternal Hydra

Touchstone Theatre opens its 2012-2013 season with Anton Piatigorsky’s literary detective play, Eternal Hydra. The play will run at Studio 16 (1555 West 7th Avenue) from November 2 to 11 at 8 p.m., with matinee performances on November 3 and 10 at 2 p.m.

Eternal Hydra tackles themes of sex, identity politics, and the myth of genius while looking for truth in a long-lost literary masterpiece. Touchstone Theatre’s production stars local actor John Murphy, Laara Sadiq, Andrew Wheeler, and Cherissa Richards. The play is directed by Katrina Dunn, with support from David Roberts on set, Adrian Muir on lights, Owen Belton on sound, and Farnaz Khaki-Sadigh on costumes.
