Bill Burr, Margaret Cho, Middleditch and Schwartz, and Patton Oswalt headline JFL Northwest, February 13 to 25, 2020

      Paper Tiger standup Bill Burr will be back for the fifth annual JFL Northwest comedy fest, which hosts its next installment around town from February 13 to 25, 2020.

      The Bostonian comedian who takes the rant to high art hits the Queen Elizabeth Theatre on February 21, according to the just-released first lineup announcement (with more names promised later).

      Tasmanian sensation and Nanette star Hannah Gadsby, meanwhile, has already added a second show, performing both February 24 and 25 at the Orpheum. 

      Middleditch and Schwartz hit the same venue on February 15 with their 100-percent-improvised comedy. Thomas Middleditch stars on HBO’s Silicon Valley, while Ben Schwartz is known for the same network's House of Lies and NBC’s Parks and Recreation.

      Standup veteran Patton Oswalt hits the Queen E. on February 22, while The Daily Show's Ronny Chieng visits the Vogue the same night. Margaret Cho plays the Vogue on February 15, Maz Jobrani performs there February 19, while Saturday Night Live alumnus Jay Pharaoh takes the theatre on February 20.

      Amid the strong contingent of podcasts, How Did This Get Made? Live! sees a live recording February 22 at the Queen E. Cult restaurant podcast Doughboys is at the Vogue on February 20. Off Book: The Improvised Musical Podcast with Jessica McKenna and Zach Reino hits the Biltmore the same night, while The Todd Barry Podcast happens February 15 at the Vancity Theatre. 

      Presale starts today (December 3) at 10 a.m.
