For the first time, Disney On Ice is bringing Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Encanto and Frozen to life in the rink.

These popular, award-winning stories—Frozen is the number-one animated feature of all time, and Encanto won the 2022 Oscar, Golden Globe, and BAFTA for Best Animated Feature—are being presented as part of Disney On Ice’s winter tour, and it touches down in Vancouver starting November 23.

Alongside the two movies’ main characters of Anna, Elsa, and Olaf (Frozen) and Mirabel, Luisa, and Isabela (Encanto), there will also be appearances by Disney favourites such as Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, and Goofy.

The narration of the magical story of Frozen is by none other than Olaf, that lovable snowman who appreciates warm hugs and summertime activities. The ice-skating performance transports families to Arendelle to watch the adventure of Anna searching for Elsa, who has unleashed her powers for an eternal winter. Kristoff and Sven help conquer the wintry conditions to bring back summer.

Then the audience will travel to the mountains of Colombia to meet the Madrigals of Encanto. Mirabel shares her tales of her family as she ventures to save the casita—her family home—with the help of her sisters, Isabela and Luisa, both of whom have gifts that are used along the way. Fans will also meet Tia Pepa, Felix, Dolores, and Bruno as the mysteries and learnings unfold.

      Encantamos Encanto.

Dazzling for children, entertaining for adults—it’s truly fun for the whole family.
