Leslie Rowe-Israelson’s imaginative glassworks reflect her stylistically unique voice; other works in the show are by glass artists Melanie Rowe and Kae Sarich, along with photographer Andrew Cotton Chamberlayne and bead artist Megan Parks.
Throughout the 12-day festival, attendees can catch performances from the Pacific Baroque Orchestra, violinist David Greenberg, cellist Christina Mahler, soprano Ellen Torrie, violinist Chloe Kim, and many others.
On July 30 and 31, Vancouver’s historic Japanese Canadian neighbourhood will be filled with contemporary and traditional music, dance and theatre, food booths, martial arts demonstrations, and more.
The three-week Talking Stick Festival is inclusive and accessible as events are free or “by donation”— honouring Indigenous history and culture should know no bounds.
