A popular piece of Canadian theatre is coming to North Van this fall.

First Impressions Theatre has announced that it will present Billy Bishop Goes to War at the Deep Cove Shaw Theatre from October 29 to November 1.

The play by John Gray, with Eric Peterson, is a heart-warming narrative based on the true story of Canadian World War I flying ace Billy Bishop.

It stars Damon Calderwood and Gordon Roberts, and is directed by Gerry Mackay.
