Bob Seger & the Silver Bullet Band to play Vancouver (finally)
1 of 2 2 of 2
Intrepid Ear of Newt readers may recall that--way back in August of 2011--I did a blog on how American rock great Bob Seger was "expected" to play Vancouver that coming fall.
Well, that never happened. But just minutes ago the pride of the Motor City announced that he will indeed grace our fair city with his presence--and hopefully my fave '70s tunes like "Get Out of Denver", "Beautiful Loser", and "Turn the Page"--with a show March 27 at Rogers Arena.
Tickets for the gig go on sale January 26 at Live Nation.
And yes, you should still take your sister.

Stoked! Hope he digs way back to some Bob Seger System classics!
I bet you are the only one in the office excited Newt.

Hey, anyone know when the last time he was in Vancouver, if ever? A friend of mine is waiting for ticket sales to start on this concert and was wondering.

Joe Walsh has been added as guest, in case you haven't heard "Rocky Mountain Way" enough times yet
