Concerned Citizens of B.C. won't pull down bogus photo

    1 of 1 2 of 1

More than a month ago, I wrote a post revealing how an anti-NDP group has relied on a stock image to look anticorporate.

The photo of happy people appears beside the "About Us" section on the Concerned Citizens of B.C. website.

CC4BC (Get it? Concerned Citizens and Christy Clark have the same initials) is running a million-dollar ad campaign trying to get people not to vote for the NDP under Adrian Dix.

My revelation that this shadowy group had posted a bogus picture—likely from iStock—riled readers, who went crazy in the comment section.

After I wrote the article, I stupidly assumed that the Concerned Citizens would feel somewhat sheepish and remove the image.

      Wrong.

Today when I visited the group's website, it's still there.

They are also not below putting up the skewed poll screen shot from 24 hrs newspaper. I watched this poll accelerate with yes votes against Dix within a ridiculous period of time. It was clear to me, as with all of these polls concerning the Liberals, that they were in there doing their dirty work once again. Vote, clear cache, refresh and vote again. I guess CC for BC was very happy to see this poll - the ones that they can easily skew.
The CKNW polls really take the cake though, but I have noticed since I have complained, among others I am sure, that the poll will in massive favour of the Liberals until the afternoon when they go in and balance it out. It is simply absurd. It is so easy to skew the polls, it works. Thank goodness, we have real polls that are truly indicative of the public feeling. Really looking forward to the next one!!!!! Maybe Concerned Citizens for BC will want to post that one!!! On second thought.....

That's the inherent problem with astroturfing, you have to acquire lots of stock photographs for various media campaigns and when you only have money behind your organization and no people.

Biggest laugh is the CC4BC site where if you click on the "Contact" button, nothing happens...lol. Probably couldn't take the massive negative feedback.
What's wrong backroom boys? Are people finally fed up with 12 years of broken promises and outright lies...or maybe 2 consecutive years of obscene graft and corruption inside Ms. CC's office?
