The Georgia Straight proudly sponsors La Tarara

On May 4 and 5, La Tarara takes over the Norman Rothstein Theatre (950 West 41st).

Kasandra Flamenco and Caravan World Rhythms present a show featuring Spanish flamenco stars Ivan Vargas and Emilio Ochando, Vancouver virtuoso Kasandra “La China”, and an international musical cast directed by Gaspar Rodriguez.

Of the show, Kasandra "La China" says that it "is a fiery encounter between flamenco dancers of two very distinct traditions, a meeting between the raw intensity of flamenco dance and the refined elegance of Spanish dance."
