I feel like I have a Penis.

What is it with dudes these days?
I made a move on a guy I liked and made things very easy for him.
He is either playing hard to get or not interested. I would write him off completely but I keep getting mixed signals.
I don't hit it off or open up to too many people.
All he has to do is ask me out. I am having to act out the guy's role by taking the first initiative and it is abit of a turn off.
If he doesn't ask me out soon I will give up.
What happened to the good old days when men were men?
I feel like in today’s world, there is a subtle role reversal between the sexes. I don't like this because I am kind of old fashioned.
Let this be a message to all passive men out there. Make your move before it's too late!

"What happened to the good old days when men were men?"
What happened? Feminism happened.
Men have been made to feel guilt and shame for being men. They've been emasculated. Wimpy, effeminate hipster dudes are the new men. Enjoy!
STI

Maybe he has an STI like Herpes or Warts or something, there are a lot of people with them now a days. A couple close friends of mine suffer from this, the guy buddy of mine has severe intimacy issues because of it.
Hitting the nail on the head

Sorry to hear the fella in question is such a spineless boy. I call him a boy, because men do and should take the steps to follow up with a lady or be honest and not waste more of her time.
I'm a man....and in today's world there are very few of us and the majority of the male species make it embarrassing for the rest of us. I grew up in a time when the only way you got to meet a lady was to man up and go talk to her. I blame most of today's introductory and dating hardships on the Internet and vast quantities of social websites.
The good old days are dead and gone except for the few who keep it alive and the old hands that came from traveling those old roads. Sounds to me like your boy has had his chance, I wish you luck but I'd say move on. Us old fashioned men do exsist and you'll know when you find one.
Cheers.

Do you really want to be with someone who sends you "mixed signals"?

He's just trying to be nice about it.
He probably likes you, as a friend.
If you want old fashioned, date someone 40+.
FEMINISM
Jun 2, 2012 at 5:04pm
Get your DEFINITION right on what FEMINISM is. Anyone who says "feminism" is the reason men don't ask women out or the reason men feel emasculated really should take a moment to brief themselves on the political movement before making such counterproductive statements.
YES!

Thank you to "Hitting the nail on the head". It's so frustrating for us women in today's dating world. Most of us are very attracted to "men" and yet most of the dating pool is saturated with "boys". I really wish that the men out there realized this. I know so many women who are choosing to simply not date anymore due to being so frustrated with the behaviour of most of the men out there. Dear men; we like you being men!!! We liked the days when you took charge, treated us like ladies, and didn't play tons of games. Just because women came into their own freedom and power, doesn't mean that we wanted to become the male role and have you delegated to a more submissive role.

maybe he just likes attention. maybe he already has a girlfriend, maybe he just likes being liked. doesn't mean he doesn't find you attractive, but you aren't his priority.
