There's a day for pretty much everything. And April 25 happens to be World Penguin Day.
The Global Penguin Society has embraced this momentous event to draw attention to some of the most lovable creatures on the planet.
While they waddle around rather slowly on ice, they're amazingly fast swimmers, reaching up to 35 kilometres per hour.
