A freaky monster museum is opening in Burnaby

      Prepare to be scared.

      Looking for a frightening display of sea monsters, ghouls, zombies, aliens, corpses, and demons with gory bits to make this Halloween extra special? Cue what is being dubbed Canada’s first-ever monster museum.

      MastersFX, one of Hollywood’s favourite special effects and creature studios for movies and TV, is giving the public a peek into its working 5,000-square-foot monster-making studio in Burnaby starting October 14.

      Visitors will be treated to a display of over 80 hand-crafted creepy creatures, spooky aliens, and other freaky characters from popular movies and TV shows. Explore the cinematic monstrosities that span 40 years of monster-making, and be prepared to be amazed and scared by monsters that have been featured in TV shows such as Legion, Six Feet Under, and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, and movies including Predator and Tales From The Crypt: Demon Knight.
