Moonshinin Music Fest will see eleven local acts rockin' the Rickshaw and the Heatley for six hours on December 5

      The Vancouver music community is getting together for a big online rock 'n' roots show next month.

      Eleven local acts will perform at the Rickshaw Theatre and the Heatley on December 5 from 6 pm to midnight, with proceeds going to support Music Heals and to supply warm clothing for needy residents of the Downtown Eastside.

      The lineup for the Rickshaw includes Dead Quiet, the Wild North, Jody Glenham and the Dreamers, and Moonlight Years. Over at the Heatley they'll be hosting Bob Sumner, Scott Smith, Mike Rosen, Elliot C Way, and Kathleen Nisbet + Steve Charles.

      The night before, on December 4, there will be a free livestream kick-off house party hosted By Elliot C Way and Bob Sumner, with special guests Rob Butterfield, Robert Connely Farr, Himalayan Bear, Faded Oak, Ty Collins, Jay Gavin, and Dion Weisbrod.
