Suspect flees after early-morning stabbing on Hornby Street in Vancouver
The Vancouver Police Department's major crime squad is looking for a man in his late teens to early 20s in connection with a stabbing in downtown Vancouver.
He's believed to be either white or Latin and he was dressed entirely in black clothing.
Before 2 a.m., police say two groups were in an "altercation" on Hornby Street near Dunsmuir.
That's when the stabbing occurred, sending a 25-year-old male to hospital with "life-threatening injuries".
Investigators believe that someone with a cellphone videotaped the incident. They're asking for the footage to be handed over to the VPD.
In addition, police are seeking dash-cam video from anyone who might have been driving near Hornby and Dunsmuir streets between 1:30 a.m. and 2 a.m.
