Updated: missing 79-year-old man who speaks Korean from Langley has been found deceased

      Update: Langley RCMP stated that Soo Kyung Bae was found deceased. Foul play is not suspected to be a factor in his death.

      Langley RCMP are seeking help in locating a senior whose disappearance is out of character.

      Soo Kyung Bae, who is 79 years old, is believed to have left his residence in the Willoughby area of Langley between noon and 1 p.m. on September 30.

      He is described as being 165 centimetres (five-feet, five-inches) tall and weighs 68 kilograms (150 pounds). He has grey hair and brown eyes, and he wears gold-frame glasses.

      He is known to walk with a limp. He isn’t known to use public transit, and it is believed he didn’t take any cash with him.

      Also, he only speaks Korean.

      Anyone who has information about Soo Kyung Bae is asked to call Langley RCMP at 604-532-3200.
