Surrey RCMP says shots fired in ongoing police incident on 139A Street

      The Mounties have shut down 139A Street between 108 and 109 avenues in North Surrey due to an ongoing police incident.

      In a news release, Surrey RCMP says that officers are expected to remain in the 10800 block for several hours as the investigation continues.

      The incident began when shots were fired into one home on the street around 4:55 a.m.

      That led police to another home on the street, where they are establishing contact with people inside.
