Another celebrity is self-isolating after catching the novel coronavirus.

Over Instagram, British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran said that he's tested positive for COVID-19 and is following government guidelines.

"It means that I'm now unable to plough ahead with any in person commitments for now, so I'll be doing as many of my planned interviews/performances I can from my house," Sheeran wrote.

The news comes days in advance of the release of his fourth album on October 29.

He's scheduled to appear on Saturday Night Live on November 6.
