Coca-Cola vending machine giving free drinks for hugs back at UBC

After almost a two-year absence, a beloved source of caffeine has returned to UBC’s Point Grey campus.

It’s a Coca-Cola vending machine that delivers a free beverage in exchange for a quick cuddle.

The machine is being moved around the school’s grounds in a sporadic manner, according to the Ubyssey.

That’s added a bit of mystery to the promotion, though, apparently, not enough to slow down students in search of a freebie. Reportedly, lineups follow wherever the machine appears, waiting for a hug.
