White Spot offers new burger and beer lineup

White Spot has teamed up with Granville Island Brewing for a classic pairing: burgers and beer.

The restaurant chain is introducing a new burger selection Tuesday (September 8) featuring a one-third-pound patty of beef and double-smoked bacon. The 50/50 burger selection comes with coleslaw and fries.

“We wanted to have fun with our burgers—and this time, it starts with a new patty,” White Spot Executive Chef Danny Markowicz said in a news release. “The flavour combination of beef and double-smoked bacon—two Canadian favourites—in one delicious patty is an experience not to be missed!”

To wash down it all down, Markowicz worked with Granville Island Brewing to create the restaurant’s small batch beer, Spot On Copper Ale. The exclusive beer is available at select 24 locations.

“It was fun working with Danny to craft a distinctive beer that complements their new 50/50 menu”, Granville Island Brewing’s brewmaster Kevin Emms said in the release. “We’re excited to showcase this perfect pairing to White Spot guests.”

The burger is loaded with fat, sodium and calories.
This burger 'experience' is best missed, after all how much 'fun' is a heart attack?

Good luck to all the burger eaters and beer drinkers.
