The Police to record comeback album?

First we caught word that the Sex Pistols are contemplating a return to the studio, and now it's the recently reunited Police. "It's sort of like living with the elephant in the room," guitarist Andy Summers recently told Associated Press. "I would see it as a challenge, to make an absolutely brilliant pop album at this stage of our career, and that would be something quite remarkable." The Police have not released an album of new material since 1983's Synchronicity.
