Western Front’s annual artisan sale, Toque, is one of the most artful “craft fairs” on the holiday roster. On Friday (December 7) from 6 to 10 p.m. and on Saturday (December 8) from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., a curated lineup of artists, designers, and artisans offers up an assortment of creations in the East Side heritage building, with everything from jewellery to ceramics. Also available are limited-edition commissioned tea towels and exclusive Western Front publications, and Saturday finds a kids’ craft table by Collage Collage as well as a bake sale. Names include Contexture Design, Gailan Ngan, and Jennifer Fedorink. Proceeds, of course, go to the beloved art centre.
