Monsters Of Folk Tour

This could be the sleeper show of the year. Conor Oberst, frontman for Nebraska's most famous folk-rock sensation, Bright Eyes, returns to the Commodore on Tuesday (October 19) for a night of acoustic cross-pollination that should be interesting, to say the least. Jim James of gauzy southern popsters My Morning Jacket and singer-guitarist M. Ward are also scheduled to perform, solo and with Oberst, and reports from previous shows by these three "monsters of folk" have been uniformly ecstatic. (For those Bright Eyes fans out there, the band is releasing two new records in January of next year.)
