Electronic Arts promotes EA Canada general manager to role at EA Sports

Electronic Arts announced today (March 16) that Pauline Moller is the new chief operating officer of EA Sports.

Moller, who has been with EA for 13 years, was previously senior vice president and general manager of EA Canada.

On the phone from the company’s Tiburon studio in Orlando, Florida, Moller said that her first priority is to accelerate the label’s on-line presence. There is, according to her, an opportunity for growth.

“How do we cast a wider net to attract new consumers and fans of sport?” Moller said.

In her new position, Moller will report directly to Peter Moore, president of the EA Sports label. She will continue to be based in Burnaby, where the FIFA, NHL, and EA Sports Active titles, among others, are developed.

At EA Canada, Moller was responsible for all the sports titles developed at the main campus in Burnaby.

EA Canada’s new general manager is Moira Dang, who is being promoted from chief operating officer of the unit.
