And I feel better. I used to have the dream of the house and garage in Vancouver. Would I still like one if I could afford it? Yes. Would I enjoy taking care of every square inch of that house? No. As much as I'd like a yard for my dogs to play in, I'd hate to maintain that lawn. I'd like to work in my own garden but ugh, the upkeep. I live in a condo complex with beautiful grounds, lovely flowers and it's right by the water. My confession is I gave up on my dream of house ownership when I accepted and embraced that I already had a home I loved.
