Two boys with kayaks crossing West 1st at Columbia. One of them says hi to a girl standing with her dog at the corner. She says hi back. Fast-forward 15-20 minutes... the boys are paddling west on False Creek under the Cambie St. bridge and see the girl with her dog walking on the seawall. They wave at her. She waves back. They call out to her that her dog is cute. She calls back thank you. The boys continue on their paddle. The girl continues on her walk with her dog. She smiles all the way home.
