We knew it was coming, but the official word is that this year's Reel 2 Real International Film Festival for Youth, scheduled to run in April, has been postponed until 2021.

A media release assures that "all schools who have already paid for 2020 will have the option of being fully refunded, or to hold their spot for a similar program and workshop until 2021. If your cheque has not been deposited, we will simply mail it back to your school. Otherwise, we will issue and mail a refund cheque to your school immediately. Please alert your reception. Our staff will be available to resolve any outstanding refunds."  

It goes on to add this poignant note: "We had a great program planned for you. Take a moment to preview our 2020 trailer. R2R is dedicated to bringing students and families a dynamic and exciting program every year. We hope to see you in 2021!."
