Want to watch a movie on a screen so eye-bulging big you feel like you’re inside the thing? Thought so.

The Little Mermaid is being shown on BC Place’s colossal jumbotron this October as part of Kids Up Front Vancouver’s More than a Movie event, which will see up to 3,500 kids and their families invited to 777 Pacific Boulevard for a family-friendly evening.

Along with the movie, attendees will also have the opportunity to go for an exclusive tour of the BC Sports Hall of Fame—as well as head onto the field for sports activities with the BC Lions, the Canadians, and the Whitecaps mascots.

Those who purchase a ticket (or a family-pack of tickets) won’t just be treating their own kids to the show, either; for every ticket sold, another one will be donated to a child through one of the over 110 local agencies partnered with Kids Up Front that serve marginalized communities.

All tickets include access to on-field activities, admission to the movie, a hot dog, popcorn, and a soft drink—which really is quite the deal when it comes to BC Place. Single tickets are $15 and a family-of-four bundle is $50.

Here’s a look at last year’s event, which included a showing of Lightyear.
