Canada's former bad boy of pop is quickly becoming the country's most famous Christian.

On the Easter weekend, Justin Bieber posted on Instagram that "Jesus has changed my life".

"Easter is not about a bunny," the Biebs declared "Its [sic] a reminder that my Jesus died on the cross for my sins and then rose from the dead defeating death!

"I believe this happened and it changes everything!" he continued.

Not only that, but this has also set him "free from bondage and shame".

According to NME, Bieber has been attending a Pentecostal church for a couple of years.

This has fuelled widespread speculation in the music world that his next album will reflect his Christian faith.
