The Peel Regional Police have identified one of the three males believed to be responsible for an unprovoked assault on a 29-year-old man with autism.

As a result of "overwhelming tips from the community", investigators have named Ronjot Singh Dhami as one of the three men who allegedly beat and kicked the man at the Square One bus terminal in Mississauga.

Dhami, 25, is of no fixed address. His last known residence was in Surrey and he's now the subject of a Canada-wide arrest warrant.

Police say they are still looking for two other men involved in the incident, which has received national attention.

The victim was sitting on his own when three men came down the stairs and started kicking and punching him. He was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
