Vancouver police are investigating a shooting that took place behind a Downtown Eastside strip club last night.

After midnight on October 26, the Vancouver Police Department (VPD) received 911 calls about gunfire in the laneway behind the No. 5 Orange located at Main and Powell streets.

According to a VPD news release, officers were able to confirm that shots were fired. However, no suspect or victims have been located.

In addition, investigators believe this was not a random incident based on information collected.
