Male suspect arrested and charged for stabbing at business in Chilliwack

      A male suspect allegedly involved in a stabbing in Chilliwack has been arrested.

      Around 5 p.m. on December 23, Chilliwack RCMP received a report of a stabbing at a business in the 45000-block of Yale Road.

      A victim was injured but is expected to recover, according to Upper Fraser Valley Regional Detachment spokesperson Cpl. Mike Rail.

      After collecting evidence, officers identified a suspect.

      Chilliwack RCMP announced today (January 8) that on December 31, officers arrested 41-year-old Ryan Todd Malow.

      Malow is charged with aggravated assault and assault with a weapon. He is in custody pending a court date in January.
