The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team is looking into a "suspicious" death in the Fraser Valley.

On Saturday (February 15), an Abbotsford resident reported finding a deceased body in the 37000 block of Keeping Road in a rural part of the city.

The Abbotsford Police Department's major crime unit responded, along with forensic identification units and patrol officers.

The case has since been transferred to IHIT.

The name of the deceased person has not been released.
