New Westminister police announce public notification about animal killer Kayla Bourque
New Westminster residents likely won't be thrilled to hear about their newest resident.
Kayla Bourque was a top student when she attended SFU.
But in 2013, she was convicted of causing unnecessary pain and suffering to an animal, killing or injuring an animal, and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
According to B.C. Corrections and the New Westminster police, she'll be living in the Royal City.
Bourque is subject to 47 court-imposed conditions, including electronic monitoring and a curfew from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.
She's considered a high risk to reoffend.
