Island Way sorbet

Wrap your tongue around this. A halved fruit filled with sorbet that's simply the frozen fruit, puréed, with a little ice cream thrown in. You bet it's delicious; low in fat, too. Just arrived in Vancouver, the Island Way sorbet line originates in South Africa and includes apples (you can eat the packaging), lemons, oranges, pineapples, and coconuts-with a piña colada flavour presumably just for the fun of it. A pack of 10 assorted is $20 to $23, or you can buy them individually for $2 to $2.99. Stong's, Urban Fare, Meinhardt Fine Foods, and Marketplace IGA are just a few sources.
