Ghosted

I can't describe how bad it feels to go through four rounds of interviews over several months and then be flown halfway across the world to meet the team for a final interview just to be ghosted.

Don't potential employers realize how disrespectful and unprofessional it is to not follow up with candidates who have invested countless time and energy in the interview process? Unbelievable. I'm sorry this happened to you.

Either you're passive boasting of being almost good enough for something...or else bragging about almost being close enough to touch the 1% which you're clearly not a member of.

Unless you're being sincere. In that case, please keep trying because you're knocking at the proverbial door. Good luck, all the best etc.

Maybe something happened to one of the hiring team's members?

That is such shitty behavior. I've been ghosted to for interviews. It takes 2 minutes of an email or phone call to say I didn't get it. Just be straight with me, I can take it.

If I were you

I'd call them on it. This is incredibly rude and unprofessional and not acceptable in ANY way. For a job interview involving so much effort on your part to have no response whatsoever is unacceptable under any circumstances. What kind of company treats people so badly? I want to know so I can boycott them. I expect every employer who puts a person thru more than one interview to have the decency to let each candidate know if they didn't make it through, but for someone doing multiple interviews??? That's the least they can do and they owe you at least that. What shits.
