I appreciate why you want to keep quiet about the kids (there's a safety issue that pops to mind), but I was a divorced Mom out in the dating world awhile ago, and I wouldn't have kept it hidden that I had kids. There are people (both men and women) who may not want to deal with children and the challenges that can go with it, and they do have the right to decide it's not right for them.

That said, I'm sure there are lots of divorced men out there who also have kids and would love to have a partner who is in their corner, and understands what they are experiencing with their co-parenting. Perhaps you should consider shifting towards dating men who also have kids.

Not everyone wants to be a parent so perhaps you'd be more successful at dating if you were truthful about your situation. I can understand waiting to introduce your kids to a potential partner, but I think it's sleazy to not mention them from the very start.

You’ve got it all wrong!! If said date walks away then they’re not right for you. You should filter that out right from the beginning. Trust me, you don’t want someone in your life that would have walked away if they knew you had children after the first date. Enjoy this precious time with them. Trust me… who cares about anyone else
