Mount Pleasant’s Starbucks Reserve coffee bar launches evening menu with wine, craft beer, and cider
Mount Pleasant’s upscale Starbucks Reserve coffee bar (2980 Main Street) has been open for a few weeks, and it’s already been getting plenty of buzz.
Besides serving Starbucks Reserve small-lot coffees using special brewing techniques, and a highly photogenic interior, this unique coffee location will now offer beverages that you’d normally find at a bar or tasting room.
The global coffee giant announced today that the city’s first Starbucks Reserve spot will offer an evening menu that includes Canadian and international wine, local craft beer, and cider.
Some of its libations include pinot noir from the Okanagan, cabernet sauvignon from Italy, sauvignon blanc from New Zealand, and Italian prosecco.
SteamWorks IPA and pilsner, as well as Lonetree dry cider will also be available.
Because you may want a bite other than doughnuts or cookies with your alcoholic drink (the cheese and cracker sets are an exception), the evening menu will also include a few warm and savoury food items—think artichoke-and-goat-cheese flatbread, and truffle mac and cheese.
Starbucks first premiered its evening menu at three Toronto locations last April, as well as its Ottawa Reserve bar in November 2016.
The new expanded menu at Vancouver’s Starbucks Reserve coffee bar will be available Monday to Friday (2 p.m. to close), and weekends (noon to close).
