When it comes to reaching for a beverage, there are seemingly three different categories: something to hydrate or something for fun. But what if we could combine two in one?

Introducing Lolo Drink Company, a new venture from the team at Strathcona Beer Company that creates canned tequila cocktails. Crafted from 100 per cent agave tequila directly from Jalisco, Mexico, the offering has unique bragging rights for being Canada’s first all-natural ready-to-drink alcoholic beverage with electrolytes. So that you can have a cocktail and hydrate yourself at the same time.

“We’re excited to introduce an innovative, electrolyte-infused formula that tastes great and meets the needs and mindset of today’s wellness-focused consumer,” shares Lolo co-founder Adrian McInnes in a statement. “Lolo drinks are mixed and canned with care here in Vancouver, BC and they are delicious not only because of what we put into them, but what we leave out. The cocktails are unlike any other and we can’t wait for people to try them.”

Launching late May, these wellness-minded beverages will come in two flavours: Tequila Lime Fizz and Honey Paloma Fizz. They will be available as a four-pack at Strathcona Beer Company’s Hasting Street location, their upcoming Lonsdale Quay location, and select retailers.
