Suyo con Amigos brings some of Vancouver’s best chefs together for one-off dinners
In what could be described as a delicious meeting of the minds, Suyo Modern Peruvian is hosting a series of guest chef dinners called Suyo con Amigos (that’s “Suyo with friends,” for anyone who didn’t take Spanish in high school).
For one night only, some of Vancouver’s best chefs will join Suyo’s chef Ricardo Valverde for special tasting menus that combine, complement, and highlight the flavours of the city’s vast culinary landscape. Here are the dates for this fun series’ inaugural year:
- March 14: Suyo x Bar Haifa (chef Jason Hemi)
- June 13: Suyo x Elisa (chef Ivy Yang)
- September 12: Suyo x Wildlight Kitchen + Bar (chef Warren Chow)
- November 18: Suyo x Masayoshi (chef Masayoshi Baba)
The Bar Haifa collaboration is now available for booking. The price of $249 per person includes the full menu and drink pairings (tax and gratuity are extra). The menu looks pretty incredible (as described by the restaurants):
