American DJ and record producer Diplo will headline the 2018 SeaWheeze Sunset Festival on September 22. Local DJ and Juno nominee Felix Cartal will perform an opening set.

Diplo, who is also one-third of electronic-dance trio Major Lazer, will take the stage at Stanley Park’s Brockton Oval at the seventh annual event, which is organized by lululemon and follows the yogawear company’s popular SeaWheeze Half Marathon.

Admission to Sunset Festival is $45 online. Only 5,000 tickets are available to the general public; runners in the SeaWheeze Half Marathon may attend at no extra cost.

Also included in the music festival are an all-level sunset yoga practice, an artisan market, and a selection of food and beverages from local vendors. The event takes place from 4:30 to 10:30 p.m.

Over 10,000 runners are expected to descend upon Vancouver for this year’s SeaWheeze Half Marathon, which boasts a route through Stanley Park and the downtown core. It’s billed as “the most fun half-marathon in the world” and includes a slew of pre-race yoga-related events, including a special lululemon pop-up shop that is known to draw lengthy lineups.
