There's nothing that says "Korea" quite like tae kwon do.

Anyone who's seen martial artists from Kukkiwon, South Korea, at Swangard Stadium can attest to that.

One can only marvel at their intense concentration and stunning athleticism.

This is apparent in the video below, which was filmed at the 2015 Korean Cultural Heritage Festival.

Kukkiwon tae kwon do artists demonstrated their skills at Swangard Stadium in 2015.

On Saturday (May 19), more high-level tae kwon do will be on display in the Lower Mainland, courtesty of the Republic of Korea.

The 2nd annual Korean Consul General Cup and Taekwondo Festival takes place at the Richmond Curling Club (5540 Hollybridge Way).

There is a $5 admission fee for adults, $10 for families, and children under 6 get in free.

The board breaking demonstrations run from 11 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., followed by the opening ceremonies and then sparring, which starts at 12:30 p.m.
