I wish I weren't allergic to cats :(

I confess, Lately I've become inspired to SERIOUSLY look in to FOSTERING DOGS & possibly doing hospice care too. I can't wait to get in to it. I especially look forward to taking in dogs with special needs :) I URGE and encourage others to look in to it too !. I hope I'm STRONG enough to do this. Words of encouragement/support and realism would be really helpful. Just incase, lots of LOVE to any/all trolls <3

It's the most rewarding and heartbreaking work you'll ever do. You'll watch those little guys flourish under you, there will brutal set backs, but it's amazing to watch these little guys recover.

The heartbreaking part is watching the happy, healthy guys go! Try to focus on the happiness you will be creating in the lives of the people who adopt your loving work...

I appreciate that you are someone who wants to help animals, admirable. Can I ask though, will you have support, experience and a facility to make this happen? Even one hospice dog can require round the clock care, and the space needs to be set up for it - e.g., incontinence is common. Or will you work in partnership with a facility and/or a veterinary health care professional?
Will this be a service that people pay for, including the cost of any necessary equipment, treatment or medications? If not, who is responsible for it?
Maybe you have it all covered, but these are a few questions that come to mind :) Cheers

There are many places in the lower mainland, and beyond, that will cover the cost of the animal(s) being fostered. You only incur financial cost, food, vet care etc., of the care of the animal, ONLY if you decide to adopt.
Best wishes on your amazing journey :)
