I'm so sorry for you hon. It's awful to have to think about how "gross" having a period is! Not to mention having to read about how a woman thinks about feeling that she needs to apologize for not being fully available for sex when the guy wants it. It's so much nicer, isn't it, to be able to carry on in blissful ignorance and denial of a very real issue that countless women live with all the time?

I'm so glad they're you going to begin showing tampons commercials with real looking blood. Men need to understand women's bodies as science machines designed for so much more than sexual objectification. We bleed, that's how you got here. If that grosses you out, don't look in the mirror.

It's not about the menstruation per se. It's the sex in the shower + bleeding... too graphic. I'm a woman, and I thought that was TMI as well.

... at least her colon isn't the source of the blood.
