Misogyny is gross

Years after online movements, and a bazillion posters on my post secondary referring to positive spaces and feminism have done jack shit. Even white knighting/faux feminists have learned it takes less effort to pretend you're a progressive male than actually being one.

It takes years years to unlearn that shit and it doesn’t happen over night and there is a lot of back sliding I’ve met a lot of really decent Men that are the real deal and have stayed good influences

I don’t think the average guy is ever going to get it. I hope I’m wrong for the sake of all the young women who are still interested in finding a man for a partner. But I really have my doubts, based on the evidence all around us that if anything, misogyny is worse than ever.

I agree that misogyny is worse than ever. But I think it's fair to say that misandry is worse as well. There is so much divisiveness brought on by tribalism in our society. I found a great husband and it wasn't hard. All I had to do was accept that everyone has flaws and be honest about my own. I treated him with kindness while showing that I have a backbone. When we committed, he said, "The best thing about you is you have an opinion but you're not a fucking harpy about it." So... yeah.
