I hate phone "zombies"

I hate how society has changed to the point that people no longer communicate like people. Their faces are constantly glued to their phones, and when you do try to talk to them they appear distracted, disinterested, or dazed. GET OFF YOUR PHONES!!!

Bet the minute someone asks you for help you say "don't you have a phone". You can't have it both ways.

The zombie apocalypse is here now.

Social media is designed for addiction and it is destroying our society.

... it was Walkmen, before Walkmen, it was newspapers or books, etc etc through to the dawn of time

Strangers do not owe you conversation or social interaction!

Devo for those who don't no we're a quirky early punk band with songs & stage shows that might gled kitsch science fiction themes, deadpan surrealist humour & mordantly satirical social commentary (this info from Wikipedia) & their name Devo they chose because they believed the human race is devolving not evolving .....well I think they were right, people looking down at thier cellphones are becoming hunched over like the apes....I mean look at the USA, thier president is the biggest ape of all time (my apology to the ape family)

People who live in society have the expectation that people will make polite conversation with them. People who do not believe in this are not really sociable, gregarious animals, and while I guess you should be allowed all of the benefits of society even tho you're this unsociable, I don't think you should be allowed to act smugly, like you understand something people who don't see conversing as a burden don't.

The simple fact is that people who exercise properly will find low-energy conversation, etc. to be not very difficult. People who don't exercise, unfortunately, will be very bad at conversation. It's strange that people are proud of being bad at very simple things like making conversation.

I don’t require engagement or interaction from strangers, or expect them to entertain me in any way, shape or form, as I have enough actual friends for that. The fact that you “expect” strangers to engage in “polite conversation” with you is beyond arrogant.
