Can't stop thinking about you

I'm coming to see you in a few days and I can't keep you out of my mind. I'm sure I'm just daydreaming, but I lose myself imagining what this trip could be like. I have no idea if you think of me the same way and more than anything else, I'm so happy we have a friendship. The last thing I want is to ruin that connection. Honestly, it would be easier if this was just a romantic dream on my part, because we could be trouble together. Yet, it gives me chills to think that you could want more out of this then friendship. Old Flame, I miss you.

I don't know. There's so many unknowns and it's too easy to get caught up in the "what-ifs." I think we either talk about it like adults or pretend that I never said anything.
I don't want to screw anyone around or sting anyone along. More than anything I don't want to lose you as a friend. Emotions are just complicated. Beautiful and scary, but complicated.
I guess I just wanted to get this out and this is less frightening than saying any of it in-person
