I’ve just received the notice. We are not allowed to smoke pot in our apartments or we will get evicted. How is this legalization? Now I’m afraid and I smoke for pain. Even if we have a medical card they said it is not valid. No housing and now they scare us with eviction.

Smoking cigarettes is legal but also something that can get you evicted. I'd say your options are to go outside to smoke, or to switch to another form of cannabis.
I suspect

that there will be a lot of people taking landlords to court over this.

But I heard that there are different types you can use. Can't you use it in other forms (not smoking), will it have the same effects?

get one of the vape bags that virtually eliminates the smoke. they're a bit expensive but worth it.

Unless “no smoking indoors” is part of your rental agreement, you may have a claim against the building management. I don’t think that they can arbitrarily change something like that once you’ve signed the agreement. Not to mention that it’s legal now.
There are those vape pen things

My hubby has one-absolutely no smoke comes out of it. You stick your weed on it and press a button and it works like a charm.

If you have official medical notification (not just having a Weeds membership card), but a doctors verification that smoking weed helps you medically, then NO landlord or condo board can legally prevent you from doing it.
