An acquaintance of mine, who knew the details of an abusive scenario that forced me out of a 30 -year career, felt the need to comment on how smart my abuser was while we were at a dinner party.
What possible response is there when someone feels the need to praise the person who broke my psyche for kicks?
How in the hell is it that I fumbled with neutralizing language when I should have told her to pull her juvenile head out of her ass?
I confess I am done. Best wishes to all the genius snowflakes of today, you are welcome to take over and good luck.
By the way, if you have the good fortune to live a while, the power you wield in terms of your youth and looks will fade and you, too, will wonder how the next generation can be so dismissive.

You might have good reason to feel betrayed but hating on future generations and calling them snowflakes makes you appear arrogant and condescending. You seem jealous of this young lady because your time has passed.

Until you said the snowflake comment. The people of today are not snowflakes. They are mind bending, manipulative, sneaky and hardened. There is nothing fragile about that. They know how to corrupt people’s minds and can throw people into a tailspin without remorse. It’s psychological warfare out there.

Way to go sweetie ! Someone like her will never understand how fucking awful a feeling it is to be put through it by the one you love . The crazy thinking , the confused crying with so much pain it's unbelievable you didn't end it all right there and of course the self doubt with am even worthy at all . I get it my ex gf was just about the best abuser I've ever seen . I can say that because I was there and pretty much I'm no idiot. I still wonder how she was able to terrorize me like she did ?
