Driving the Midnight Streets

I can't sleep. Keys jingling as I shift into drive. I feel like a goldfish in a bowl. Around and 'round with no claims to a home. Where are the gentle places and soft melodies? Only saccharine brews and smiles. Where is that haven where I have a name? Seeking a snoezelen eremite paradise.

Really, top 40 commercial AM radio hits from the early 70s qualifies as great taste in music? Every Gen has great musicians and none of them have or will be played on a commercial radio stations. Boomers, still thinking you're the smartest in the room because you were born at the right place at the right time.

I don't think the boomer comment was meant to be unkind but rather just in fun.
And golden earrings' radar love is a kick ass song to this day without doubt.

YOU were the one that started the unprovoked insult.
Now, when it's returned, you are all butt hurt.
If you can't take it- don't dish it out.

People who post lyrics, suck.
And the older the lyrics, the worse they suck.
Original thought comes so seldom from the great unwashed, and always has.
Pull over and rub one out. Then go the f*ck to sleep, like Samuel L. Jackson said.
